| The VRC Rowers would like to thank our sponsors for the 2006/7 season. Each year the Rowers rely on the generosity and commitment of individuals and corporate donors through Corporate Sponsorship to sustain it’s tradition of producing and developing great rugby teams.
Philanthropic giving has a value that extends far beyond its immediate worth. Significant support from donors acts as a catalyst and is a compelling demonstration to funding bodies of the value and importance of our programs.
Currently, we raise 20% of our operating budget through dues and club revenue. Our annual operating budget is $40,000.
The remainder of our revenue, $32 000, is needed to cover the costs of Canadian, British Columbia and Vancouver Rugby Union dues, coaches, trainers, park fees, equipment, insurance and uniforms. This sum is generated through generous donations from our loyal supporters who acknowledge and support the important role of the Vancouver Rowing Club Rugby Section. Corporate Sponsorship
