In the Vancouver Men's and Women's Leagues, all teams are required to supply rated umpires for other teams' games throughout the season.

We pay all our umpires and also reimburse the $60 umpiring course fee once they are rated and have umpired two games for the club. The following are the pay rates per game, paid at the end of each half season (December and April).

Women (by rating)

Provincial B: $20 (able to umpire Div 2 and lower)
Provincial A: $25 (able to umpire Div 1 and lower)
Regional: $30 (able to umpire Premier and lower)
Canadian: $35 (able to umpire Premier and lower)

Men (by division)

Div 4: $15 (no rating needed)
Div 3: $15 (Provincial B or higher needed)
Div 2: $20 (Provincial B or higher needed)
Div 1: $25 (Provincial A or higher needed)
Premier: Umpires supplied by league
