Jokers can obviously attend the VRC at any time that it’s open, but Club Nights are particularly fun evenings. Club Nights are Thursdays and Saturdays throughout the year as these are the evenings that you’re most likely to find Jokers at the Clubhouse.

Some go for a late afternoon run through the trails of Stanley Park, some have a workout in the Gym, but after a refreshing shower, all then head to the Carver Bar to relax and tell tall Jokers tales over a drink or two. In the summer, this bantering takes place on the deck, overlooking beautiful Coal Harbour and in the winter the story-tellers move inside by the fire.

Club nights often involve other sections too, so you’re bound to get to know members from the Rugby and Rowing sections too; it’s very easy to do in the relaxed atmosphere of the Carver Bar!
