In keeping with the Joker tradition of maintaining a ‘healthy social element’ to their hockey, the VRC Jokers Club has toured the world extensively and were, in fact, the first oversees team to play in Cuba, Colombia, Tobago and Taiwan. For the past 20+ years, the Joker touring tradition has been so strong that they had to form an “International Touring Side” to the Club, known as Jokers International and since 1985, under the expert guidance of Stuart Wilson, Jokers International has attended every ‘Golden Oldies’ festival except for one.

In 2007, Jokers International sent over 80 Vancouverites, Ex-pats and ‘International Jokers’ to the Golden Oldies Festival in Rosario, Argentina.As is often the case, the Jokers had the largest representation at the event and won the “Best Uniform Award” for the second time (thanks to Victor Warren and Norma Bonnell’s spectacular designs).

From the formation of the Club in 1964, the Jokers wasted no time and began traveling the world in 1966 and have the following, rather impressive touring record:
